Kirstie is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas with over 12 years of practice experience. She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work. She then attended Arizona State University for her Doctorate in Behavioral Health with an interest in applying motivational interviewing to end-of-life planning for clients and their families in hospice care. Kirstie is also an adjunct professor at Our Lady of The Lake-San Antonio in the graduate social work program.

Kirstie has worked with children, adolescents, adults, active-duty military service members, hospice, and with individuals who are incarcerated. Her passion is to help individuals reach their goals in therapy using effective, evidence-based interventions, and feedback from clients to identify their needs.

Kirstie’s goal is to be your guide in finding your voice and empower you to take the next steps in your journey. Her focus is trauma-informed, solution-focused using motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT therapy. She has experience working with clients with a variety of mental health issues, grief and loss, trauma, school behavioral issues, family stressors, and life stressors.
