My name is Alex! I have been practicing Social Work since March 2014. I have a history of working with children, young adults and families. I provide virtual therapy sessions to clients. I strive to help my clients feel encouraged and empowered. I work with clients to process their thoughts and emotions, create attainable goals and guide them through difficult times. I am currently accepting new clients and offer weekend availability (until spots are filled).
Building and maintaining a relationship with your therapist is a key role while receiving counseling. My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My therapy sessions always include respect, empathy, and honesty. I actively listen and communicate effectively with my clients.
