Amber is the Co-Founder of My Choice Counseling & Wellness. She has over 7 years of experience working in the field of Social Work. Amber completed her Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications at Western Michigan University and later received her Master's degree in Social Work at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Amber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in domestic violence, mental health, grief and loss, trauma, support groups, and couples counseling.
She provides services to individuals, children, families, and couples who are experiencing various life challenges. Her areas of competence are depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and grief and loss. Amber strives to help you navigate these difficulties and develop new skills to achieve your goals by using a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
